Adding and Removing Tags to Your Products

Most schedule types can also change product tags while they run — for example, a discount schedule can add a "sale" tag when the discount starts and remove it when the discount ends. (The only exception is delete schedules.)

In the Tags section of your schedule, tick Add/remove tags to products for the duration of the schedule, then choose the tag action:

• Add tags at start of schedule, remove at end
• Remove tags at start of schedule, add at end
• Add tags at start of schedule — if your schedule has no end date, tags are simply added.
• Remove tags at start of schedule — if your schedule has no end date, tags are simply removed.

Select as many tags as you like by searching in the search bar; the selected tags appear below it.

Tip: pair this with an automated collection whose condition is the tag, and your schedule effectively adds/removes products from that collection on a timer.

If you want a schedule that only changes tags, use the dedicated tag change schedule type instead.
