Editing an Active Schedule

Once a schedule has started running — its changes are live and it's waiting to revert at the end date — most of its settings are locked. You'll see this banner:

This schedule is active. You can change the end date and end time. To change other settings, deactivate this schedule first.

What you can change while it's active

The end date and end time. Extend a sale that's going well, or bring the end forward — edit the fields and save. Everything else stays locked.

Why is everything else locked?

When your schedule ends, Auto Schedule reverts each product to its recorded original state. Changing the products, prices or actions mid-flight would make that revert ambiguous — which original state should win? Locking the settings protects your product data.

Changing anything else

  1. Press Deactivate — the schedule's changes are reverted immediately (prices return to their originals, visibility is restored, tags are removed).
  2. Edit whatever you need.
  3. Press Activate to re-arm the schedule with the new settings.

If you only need to undo what a schedule did, Deactivate is also the way — see History, Execution Details & Reverting a Past Run.
