Setting a Repeating Schedule

If your schedule has an end date then you will have the option to set it to be a repeating schedule. Merchants use repeating schedules for all sorts of different things, including rotating menus, product availability and setting regular sale prices.

To set a schedule to be repeating, check the Repeating checkbox and you will see the options available:

The repeating options will change dynamically depending on the start date/time and end date/time you have chosen. For example, if the amount of time between the start and end is more 24 hours, then you will not be able to select every day.

The text beneath each option will change depending on your start and end date selection in order to help you to understand when your schedule will repeat.

The following repeating options are available:

Option Description
Every day The schedule will be re-run every day at the time selected every day. This option is not available if there is more than 24 hours between the start and end date.
Every weekday The specified schedule will be re-run every weekday of the week (Monday - Friday) at the same time. This option is not available if there is more than 24 hours between the start and end date.
Every week The specified schedule will be re-run every week at the same time. This option is not available if there is more than 7 days between the start and end date.
Every month (on the nth day) The specified schedule will be re-run every month on the same day of the month. For example - on the 19th of each month. This option is not available if there is more than 28 days between the start and end date.
Every month (on the nth X) The specified schedule will be re-run every month on the same day of the month. For example - on the 3rd Saturday of each month. This option is not available if there is more than 28 days between the start and end date.
Every year The specified schedule will be re-run every year on the exact date and time selected every year. This option is not available if there is more than 364 days between the start and end date.
Custom... Selecting will open the custom options popup.

Custom repeating schedule

If you select “Custom” from the repeating dropdown, the custom options popup will be displayed.

Here you can select any number you wish and a timeframe. For example - every 2 days, every 3 weeks, every 4 months or every 5 years.

You can also select when the schedule ends, which can either be an exact date or a number of occurrences a schedule has run.

If you select week (e.g. every 3 weeks) and your schedule length is under 24 hours, then you then also have the option to select which days of the week it should run (e.g. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

If you select month (e.g. every 4 months) you then also have the option to select where it should repeat on the same date (e.g. monthly on day 19) or day (e.g. monthly on the 3rd Saturday).
