Deleting Products on a Schedule
A delete schedule permanently deletes the selected products from your store at the scheduled time.
⚠️ This cannot be undone. Deleted products are gone from Shopify — Auto Schedule cannot restore them, and neither can Shopify support in most cases. If you just want products off your storefront for a while, use a publish/unpublish schedule or an online store sales channel schedule instead.
Setting it up
- Click Create schedule and choose Delete products.
- Name the schedule and select the products to delete.
- Set the date and time.

A few things that are different about delete schedules:
- No end date — there's nothing to revert.
- No repeating — a delete schedule runs once.
- No tag options — tags are for products that still exist afterwards.
When is this useful?
- Clearing out seasonal or licensed products at a contract end date.
- Removing limited-run drops after the run sells out or expires.
- Scheduled catalogue cleanup after a migration.
If you're not 100% sure you'll never need the products again, consider unpublishing or archiving them instead.
