Adding/Removing Products from the Online Store Sales Channel

Most merchants will want to publish/unpublish products by status (active/draft/archived) but we can also add and remove products from the online store sales channel.

Your shop may have several sales channels available such as Facebook Shop, Point of Sale and most likely - the Online Store Sales Channel, which is your main Shopify store.

This schedule type will publish the products to the online store sales channel on the publish date and unpublish them from the online store sales channel on the unpublish date. However please bear in mind that you can also do this with the standard publish/unpublish schedule type alongside changing the status.

Once you have created your online store sales channel schedule and given it a name, you can now set the initial action for the schedule:

If you select to publish products, the schedule will add your products to the online store sales channel on the start date/time, irrespective of what the status of the product is when the schedule runs.

If you select to unpublish products, then the schedule remove your products from the online sales channel.

Select the products for your schedule.

Set the active dates for your schedule.

If required, set the repeating options for your schedule.

If required, set the tag options for your schedule.

If required, set your schedule to display a countdown timer.
