Setting a Tag Change Schedule
You can set up a schedule whose only job is to add and/or remove tags from products — no price or visibility changes. This is great for powering automated collections, badges and theme logic on a timer (see Setting up Daily Deals for a worked example).
Tag scheduling is available on all plans, including Free.
Choose Add/remove tags from products when creating your schedule, name it, then choose the tag action:
- Add tags at start of schedule, remove at end
- Remove tags at start of schedule, add at end
- Add tags at start of schedule — for schedules without an end date; the tags are simply added.
- Remove tags at start of schedule — for schedules without an end date; the tags are simply removed.
Then select the tags: search in the search bar and pick as many as you like. New tags can be created by typing them. The selected tags appear below the search bar — click the ✕ on any tag to remove it from the list.
